Pedigree Renovations was contacted in mid-2021. The client had purchased a 2-bedroom, three-story town-house in the luxury resort of Vale do Lobo near Almancil.
The previous owners had used the property as a rental. In general the property was in good condition structurally but the inside was very tired and dated and in need of a total facelift.
Armed with colours the client liked, our aesthetic specialist began the project by creating a colour palette to compliment the clients style based on images of previous properties and we set about making the property as amazing inside as the view outside.
Our building team entered the property and removed the kitchen, two bathrooms, the flooring thoughout the property, renewing plumbing as needed, replaced stained and tired ceilings throughout with new structure and plasterboard, and sprayed the wood work to compliment the wall colour.
Using our proprietary wall covering solution - Creative Coverings, the walls were covered in a mixture of light and dark blue fabric with insulation behind to ensure warmth in the winter and cool in the summer
as well as correcting the sound balance throughout the property.
Dark grey colour tiles were picked for the flooring throughout including the stairs to the upper levels. The removal of a tired and rather large woodburning stove, opened the room up and gave space for an island to be added to the new kitchen being fitted
with state-of-the-art applicances.
Having sold a property in London, the client had some furniture for the property but opted to have custom items such as sofas, beds, tables and stools bespoke
made through our custom furniture division, Pedigree Interiors.
The bathrooms were completely remodelled as wet rooms with new toilets, baths, sinks, wall and floor tiles and rainwater showers.
A new video entry system was added to the property through our security division - Pedigree Security so the client can see who is at the door, whereever he is in the property as well as when he is away from the property - one of the great security systems from Pedigree Security.
The property was finished with bespoke, electric black-out window blinds to give total privacy at night through Pedigree Interiors.
